Novinger, Ball, & Zivi, a Knoxville-based Certified Public Accounting Firm, is looking for a QuickBooks and Client Service expert for their newly formed Client Accounting and Advisory Services Team. Responsibilities:
- Client support and training for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; includes (but not limited to) accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll set-up and processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, class tracking and journal entries within QuickBooks
- Set up new clients in QuickBooks
- Record third party payroll transactions and depreciation entries for clients
- General ledger review
- Preparation of payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and tangible personal property reports
- Bill pay for clients
- Onboard clients to a third party accounting platform, maintain assigned accounts and prepare month-end close checklist
- Assist tax staff with trial balance clean-up work when time permits
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What you Need to Succeed:
- Expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- General ledger experience and significant accounting knowledge
- Familiar with financial statements in QuickBooks and running reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills while being able to prioritize
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to take initiative and problem solve
- Familiarity with Bill.com a plus
- Experience working with multiple industries a plus
